About this Event
Community Corner is a service run by the NHS aiming to combat social isolation and help people to live well in their communities. Every Thursday at Violet Melchett we run activities to promote health and wellbeing.
This week we welcome psychological wellbeing practitioners from Community Living Well to run a workshop about wellbeing in nature. There will also be hot drinks and refreshments!
Being amidst nature is proven to be beneficial to wellbeing. This workshop outlines how to incorporate the benefits of nature when living in London. We think about the pockets of nature that are around us in Kensington & Chelsea, how to incorporate nature into your home, forest bathing and more.
Please note we require attendees to complete a short form prior to starting the workshop, consisting of basic personal information and assessing mood. This information is confidential and is not shared with any external parties. We can also provide this form in other languages if we are aware before the session.
Community Living Well is a community mental health service for Kensington & Chelsea, Queen’s Park and Paddington. To find out more visit https://communitylivingwell.co.uk/
Feel free to email us at [email protected] for more information about wellness events that we offer, or we can direct you to amazing services available in the community.
PLEASE ONLY BOOK IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND
The Community Corner team put a lot of effort into these events, alongside running a busy drop-in service. Whilst these events are free to attend, they are not free to run! If you can no longer attend please let us know in good time so that we can offer these spaces to others.
