About this Event
Join us for a guided breathwork meditation that ends with an alchemy sound bath led by Zaire Black.
Take a journey within and activate a heightened sense of awareness. Zaire creates a safe container for somatic connection and releasing limiting beliefs via the power of breathwork. His sessions incorporate essential oils, music, sound tools and positive affirmations. The entirety of his approach is an insightful experience not to be missed.
"Breathwork is a powerful practice that involves conscious control of breathing patterns to promote physical, emotional, and mental well-being. By focusing on intentional breathing techniques, such as deep belly breathing or rhythmic inhales and exhales, individuals can activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which helps the body relax and reduce stress." - Zaire Black
Following the powerful breathwork attendees integrate inner findings and relax into a calm soothing sound bath. Zaire optimizes various sound tools which completes the journey for the night with an ideal moment of surrender and ease.
What to Bring: a yoga mat and blanket*
*There will be some mats available, but we encourage you to bring your own.
About Zaire:
Zaire Black is a breathwork facilitator who finds deep purpose in his healing work. Stemming from a creative background in music as well as a background in teaching and mentoring children he carries a potent ability to honor people where they are in their healing journey and offer them safe space to go inward to learn more about themselves.
Zaire is a graduate of David Elliot’s Healer Training, and has also trained with Dan Brulé of O2 Collective. An important guide was Frankie Salazar. Zaire has been able to culminate a unique ceremonial breath work style that allows people to feel energized, motivated and light as they release limiting beliefs and inner blocks to activate awareness all through the channel of the heart space. Honoring that each soul has their own journey, every breath work ceremony that Zaire holds is sacred and intimately personal to the individual. zaireblack.com

What is "sliding scale" ticketing?
Compound's values include Belonging, Community, Compassion, and Equity, and sliding scale is a form of mutual aid that offers different price options for the same service for guests to select based on their economic needs.
We ask that you consider the price that best suits your needs, and below is a guide to help you decide which ticket to select (borrowed from this resource by Worts and Cunning).
$24: If you struggle to maintain access to needs such as health care, housing, food, child care, and are living paycheck to paycheck or are in significant debt, you belong here and you deserve a community that honors your price as equal an economic offering as the person who can pay the highest tier.
$32: If you are struggling to conquer debt or build savings or move away from paycheck to paycheck living but have access to steady income and are not spending most of your time thinking about meeting basic needs such as food, shelter, medical care, child care, etc., you belong here.
$40 (suggested): If you have access to financial security, own property or have personal savings, you would not traditionally qualify for sliding scale services. If you are able to pay for "wants" and spend little time worried about securing necessities in your life, you have economic breathwork and power in our community. This price is for you, and reflects the true cost of the program.
