HeART of the City Award: Jamies Shuford
The focal award of the evening, this award highlights an individual in the community who brings the mission of wholeheARTedly loving our city and telling its stories to life through wholehearted acts of compassion, through their lasting legacy of volunteerism, and through their tireless commitment to sharing and celebrating their own stories as well as the many stories lived and loved by everyone who calls Long Beach home.
Art from Ashes Award: Long Beach Community Theater
This award is presented to an organization that embodies the mission of wholeheARTedly loving our city and telling its stories in its own, entirely unique, and special way.
YOUConnect Award: Alley Cat Deliveries
This award is presented to an organization that embodies the YOUConnect Program objective of connective Long Beach community members to the services and resources they need in unique and innovative ways.
Service Appreciation Award: Millicent Boyd
New this year, this award highlights a staff member working at a community service provider for the unique impact they make through the work they do every day.
Volunteer Appreciation Award: John Arcos
This annual award is presented to a CityHeART Family member for their hard work and dedication to our mission.
The evening will include live music, food, drinks, silent auction, and the launch of the Winter 2024 Art from Ashes Magazine: One Step becomes Another.
