About this Event
This session will focus on the exhibition, LBMAVIDEO: Shared Realities, a Cable Programming Series. In 1974, the Museum established a new video program where they utilized public access tv stations to bring art outside of the Museum walls, and into people’s homes. The videos serve as a time capsule of forms of technology that captured Long Beach in the 70s. Participants will receive a tour of the exhibition and be introduced to artmaking strategies to capture Long Beach today through various mediums.
Refreshments will be provided.
This session will take place at LBMA on Ocean Blvd.
The Long Beach Museum of Art Professional Development is generously supported by The Earl B. and Loraine H. Miller Foundation
