We are excited to invite you to our 3rd Annual Community Wellness Retreat on Saturday, May 10th | 12 PM - 4 PM at the Boys & Girls Club Harlem Center (521 W 145th St, New York, NY 10031)!
This FREE collaborative event, hosted by HEAF, StreetSquash, and the Boys & Girls Club of Harlem, brings together families, students, alumni, and community members of all ages for an afternoon of wellness, relaxation, and fun. Designed for all ages, the day offers a chance to relax, recharge, and reconnect through engaging wellness and self-care activities, interactive experiences, and a basketball game and open gym to close out the day TO BE CONFIRMED/ PENDING SPACE CONFIRMATION
Here are some of the exciting activities we have planned for you:
Wellness Carnival (Create, Relax & Play Stations):
- Creative Expression Stations: Succulent Plants & Pot Decorating, Canvas Painting, Flower Bouquets, Face Painting
- Relax & Restore Stations: Chair Massages, Meditation Room
- Movement and fitness games (field activities, dance, challenges)
- Workshops: Yoga, sound bath and healthy eating workshop/cooking demo
- Music, DJ and community building experiences
- Healthy Creations Stations: Build-Your-Own Bliss Bowls,
- Basketball Game & Open Gym (3:00-4:30pm) - TBC, Pending Space
- Join us for open gym time followed by an organized game, whether you’re playing or cheering from the sidelines, It’s a great way to have fun, get moving, and connect with others.
We’ll be serving lunch and refreshments throughout the day! FIRST COME FIRST SERVE!
