About this Event
Community Corner is a service run by the NHS aiming to combat social isolation and help people to live well in their communities. Every Thursday at Violet Melchett we run activities to promote health and wellbeing.
This workshop highlights the 'bi-directional' relationship between physical and mental health; exploring how our physical health can impact our mood and how our emotions can impact our physical health and body. We will also look at how Talking Therapies can help manage this impact, exploring topics such as:
- Boom and Bust
- Pacing
- Negative/Unhelpful Thinking
- Mindfulness
Please note we require attendees to complete a short form prior to starting the workshop, consisting of basic personal information and assessing mood. This information is confidential and is not shared with any external parties. We can also provide this form in other languages if we are aware before the session.
Community Living Well is a community mental health service for Kensington & Chelsea, Queen’s Park and Paddington. To find out more visit https://communitylivingwell.co.uk/
