As part of Lucy Morgan's "Well Read, Well Caffeinated" mini summer tour, where each venue is either a book store or cafe, arrive early to grab a yummy drink from the coffee bar and settle in for an opening set with Nico Valeriote.
Nico is a busy artist around Guelph, taking part in 3 bands and working solo as well. He is currently in training for vocals at the University of Guelph and though he is young, he brings a gentle wisdom to his music. He will set the intimate tone for the evening!
After a short break, Griffin will step in with an undeniable groove. His music nods toward blues, neo-soul and jazz while adding his own fresh take on those classic sounds. He'll have you transfixed by the end of the set.
Giving you time to stretch your legs and digest the first two acts, Lucy will take the stage next. Having been dealt a difficult hand from a young age with the passing of her older sister, she turned to songwriting to try to make sense of it all. Her lyrics speak to the soul and shine a unique light on the human experience. Paired with her melodies that float like a gentle wind on calm waters.
These three artists have never played a show together, come be a part of this magical first!
