The best Christmas party in the world: amazing speakers, singalong classics, jokes and unlimited festive vibes.
About this Event

'Welcome to the Santaverse' is the Christmas party you always need needed but didn't know you wanted.

Our houseband will play the singalong classics you love, accompanied by incredible guest speakers from the tech world, who will show the digital world can still be a force for good.

Just 4 hours in the Santaverse will leave you inspired, delighted, entertained and overflowing with Christmas spirit.

Our amazing speakers are

1. Ed Cooke on 'The Metaverse of Delight'

Ed is the founder of Memrise - the language learning app with over 50 million users. Alongside this he has been World Memory Champion becoming a Memory Grand Master at the age of 23. This year he became a TV Star when he appeared on Channel 4's 'Can I Improve My Memory?' (becoming a friend of Chris Eubank in the process).

2. Anne-Laure Le Cunff on 'How To Have A No Stress Christmas'

Anne-Laure is founder of NessLabs - a company and community dedicated to mindful productivity. Her content combines neuroscience and wellbeing to show how you can do good work, without losing your mind.

3. Steve Pretty with 'Tech Musical Madness'

Steve Pretty is a multi-talented behemoth of creativity who manages to be a professional comedian, musician and geek all at the same time. Founder of the Hackney Colliery Band, performer at the Edinburgh Fringe and contributor to Radio 4.

4. Sanderson Jones is The Master of Masters of Ceremonies

Sanderson Jones is a comedian, community builder, and social entrepreneur, who specialises in events that bring people together and ideas to life. Founder of Sunday Assembly - the worldwide movement of secular congregations - and now director of The Lifefulness Project.

Bring ugly jumpers, full hearts and empty stockings for what will surely be the ha-ha-ha-happiest night of the year.

Tickets: Donate What You Can Afford

All donations will go to the Magpie Project - a charity that provides a safe and fun place for mums and under-fives suffering in temporary and insecure accommodation.

At a time of year when so many of us will be surrounded by our families in warm homes stuffed with love and food, it is easy to forget that is not the case for far too many.

Partners:

We're very grateful to our partners who have helped make this happen.

  • Music Hackspace: a community of︎ eng︎ineers, artists and companies with a passion to build innovative music experiences. They host online workshops and meetups from world leading experts on music, video instrument design and more.
  • Old Street Brewery: this microbrewery will be hosting us for the evening, and serving us some of their delicious ales and lagers. We highly recommend.

Thanks in advance for your generosity.
