Ladies, are you ready to feel strong and empowered?
Join Denise Campbell [IFBB/NPC amateur Bodybuilder] for Weights for WomanHOOD, an in-person event designed to celebrate strength, sisterhood, and self-love. Whether you're a newbie or a lifting pro, this is your chance to connect, sweat, and lift your spirits along with some serious weights.
During the workshop, you’ll learn:
- The fundamentals of safe weight-lifting technique
- How strength training supports hormones, bone density, and metabolism
- How to lift with confidence without fear of injury or “bulking up”
- How to adapt exercises to your own ability and experience level
Come hang out, build muscle, and boost your confidence in a fun and supportive space. Don’t miss out—let’s lift each other up, literally!
Equipment:
Resistance bands and light hand weights will be available to borrow during the session. You’re also welcome to bring your own light/ heavy weights if you have them.
The environment is calm, supportive, and judgement-free.
No gym intimidation, no pressure, and no experience required.
Duration: 60 minutes
Introductory offer: £15 +fees
Spaces are limited – pre-sign-up required
Strong has no age limit.
Important: For your safety, all participants must have clearance from their GP before attending. This ensures the exercises are appropriate for your current health status.
