The Insight Meditation Community of Denver gathers weekly for mindfulness practice, dharma reflection, and community connection. Our practice is grounded in insight (vipassana) meditation, a tradition that cultivates awareness, compassion, and understanding through direct experience.
All are welcome. We welcome people of all races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, ages, and backgrounds, and people of all faiths or no religious affiliation. No prior meditation experience is required.
A typical evening includes:
• ~40 minutes of guided or silent meditation
• A short break for tea, snacks, and socializing
• A dharma talk from a rotating guest teacher, followed by reflection or Q&A
The exact format may vary depending on the teacher or the focus of a particular week, but meditation practice and a spirit of shared inquiry are always at the center.
Whether you’re new to meditation or have an established practice, you’re warmly invited to join us — in person or online — just as you are.
