In this two day - non residential - workshop at Abbey House you will learn the traditional techniques of willow basket weaving. From building your base, staking up and weaving the walls to creating a beautiful border and sturdy handle, you will be tutored in building your very own willow basket to take away at the end of the two day workshop.All materials and tools are provided and spaces are limited to ensure each student experiences the full instruction available throughout the weekend. The cost of this workshop is just £220 for the whole weekend. Tea, coffee, Biscuits and lunch is provided both days.
Please be aware that Abbey House is not open to the general public and only those with a ticket to the workshop can be admitted into the grounds and house. Tickets are not refundable or transferable to another activity or event. Strictly no dogs or other animals.
