About this Event
Join art historian and writer Francesca Ramsay as she talks about the life and work of artist Harry Brockway (1958-2024).
Brockway was a distinguished wood engraver and stone carver whose intricate engravings have illustrated books from Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein to work by Philip Pullman, Mark Twain and Anne Bronte. This talk explores some of his most notable work, and the artistic legacy he has left behind.
The talk will be followed by a cup of tea and a chance to chat with Francesca.
