LEVEL 2: Improvers/Intermediate (those who have done 1 or 2 courses with 12 hours throwing on the wheel)
Finished in the beginners and ready for the next step? We don't believe that your only option should be to repeat the beginners course. So, for that reason, we are introducing this new weekend course to help those who have done a beginners and want to get them to the next stage. This course focusses on improvement not on producing mountains of work. If you really want to keep something, we will bisque fire it at no extra charge. It is for adults 18+. You will be covering:
• Minimum experience requirement 12 hours throwing on the wheel
• Improving technique
• Looking at centring progressively larger pieces
• Improving pulling up
• Throwing off the hump
• Helping you to reach your individual goals
• Practice, practice, practice!
• Maximum 5 students in a class
COST: £295
INCLUSIVE ALL MATERIALS & FIRINGS
This course is not suitable for pregnant women. Throwing is very physical. If you have any medical conditions that may impede your ability to do this, please get in touch before you book.
Dates: Saturday January 31st-Sunday February 1st 10am-3pm
Cost: £295 INCL all materials and firings to bisque. Glazing is charged separately for this course and is charged at £40 per 2 hour session.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS: If you have any medical conditions that may impede your learning such as back problems, problems with hands or knees, any sight issues or balance issues it's advisable that you let us know in advance, preferably before booking. Some conditions can make it difficult to do pottery. Where possible, we will trry and accommodate you as long as we have information beforehand however some conditions may void our insurance.
PREGNANCY: Please note that this course is not suitable for pregnant women as there are health implications to working on the wheel. If you do want to join the course and are pregnant you would only be able to do the handbuilding part of the course.
If you are found to have withheld information regarding a medical condition or pregnancy that could impact your ability to learn and our ability to teach you, you may be asked to leave the course with no refund.
There are no catch-up options available for this course.
REFUNDS & DATE TRANSFERS: *Please note that if you cancel or request a date transfer 20 full working days (Monday to Friday) in advance are required. After this period and before the course starts you will only get a 50% refund or transfer if someone else can be found to replace you. There are no refunds or transfers after the start of your course. Please note that all refunds are minus Eventbrite fees which are non-refundable. Cancellations may be subject to an admin fee of £50. Transfer are only available if other dates are available.
GROUP BOOKING: please note, groups of 3 or more people will need to give 25 working days notice for refunds. We are unable to offer transfers to for group bookings.
Please note that we are unable to offer refunds or transfers within the 20 working days notice period if you are having to self-isolate or develop Covid-19 unless someone can be found to replace you.
