During this week at Talisman Gallery we invite you into a space of creativity, movement, craft and connection through a series of workshops inspired by traditional knowledge, artistic expression and handmade creation.
Through rhythm, storytelling, movement and ritual craft, each workshop offers a different experience — from building shamanic drums and exploring their history, to body movement, dreamcatchers, miniatures and jewelry making.
The program is open to everyone who feels drawn to create with their hands, move with intention and reconnect with imagination, intuition and the creative process in a more personal and meaningful way.

Tijekom ovog tjedna u galeriji Talisman pozivamo vas u prostor kreativnosti, pokreta, rukotvorstva i povezivanja kroz seriju radionica inspiriranih tradicionalnim znanjem, umjetničkim izražavanjem i ručnim stvaranjem.
Kroz ritam, priču, pokret i ritualni rad, svaka radionica nudi drugačije iskustvo — od izrade šamanskih bubnjeva i istraživanja njihove priče, do rada s tijelom, izrade hvatača snova, minijatura i nakita.
Program je otvoren svima koji osjećaju potrebu stvarati rukama, kretati se s namjerom i ponovno se povezati s maštom, intuicijom i kreativnim procesom na osobniji i smisleniji način.

2 days SHAMAN DRUM WORKSHOP
22./23. June and 25./26. June
Join a hands-on workshop where you will create your own shamanic drum from natural materials — from soaking and shaping the hide, to building, weaving, and optional natural coloring. A deep, experiential process of sound, nature, and inner connection.
Led by Siniša Gavrić — musician, composer at Vartra , and master drum maker, dedicated to shamanic instruments and sound healing.
His path began in 2006 in Vancouver, learning drum making with Laurie Morningstar (Musqueam & Squamish traditions). Since then, he has developed a unique, authentic approach and integrated shamanic drumming into his music.

WHEN BODY SPEAKS
Somatic flow workshop
24. and 26. June from 5PM to 8PM)
Led by Ivana Stosić — musician, dancer, and creator of handcrafted body adornments made from leather, crystals, and natural materials.
Working with dance since 2009, she founded her own dance community in 2011, collaborating with various instructors and artists and developing a deep understanding of movement and body awareness. Over time, she created her own approach to movement based on fundamental principles and freedom of expression rather than fixed styles.
As vocalist in the music project Vartra, she also integrated dance ensembles into stage performances, enriching the overall live experience.

STORY OF THE DRUM 23, and 26. June 2026 @6PM
An interactive workshop where music and imagination meet. Participants first visualize a story guided by narration, then bring it to life through voice, body, and simple percussion instruments, building rhythms that evolve from basic to more complex patterns.
No musical experience is needed — all skills are developed during the workshop through practice and group collaboration.
The process supports creativity, improvisation, communication, and deep listening, while mantra-like rhythmic patterns create a meditative space for relaxation and emotional release.
