Join Golden Eagle Audubon and the Wednesday Birders at Kathryn Albertson Park for an easy-paced afternoon stroll. We'll be taking time to appreciate the winter landscape and observe various bird behaviors throughout our walk.
Kathryn Albertson Park is a 41-acre special use park located near downtown Boise, and is part of the Idaho Birding Trail. A haven for wildlife and quiet contemplation, the park features wide, paved paths and outdoor gazebos in a beautiful natural setting. The most prevalent winter birds here are ducks, geese, chickadees, kingfishers, and herons.
Pathways are paved and wheelchair accessible. Please note, the walking paths may be uneven in spots, and during this time of year it may be icy in patches . Please dress for the weather and wear good shoes. Dressing in layers is a great idea.
All levels are welcome. Binoculars will be available if needed.
Participants younger than 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants younger than 18 must have a parent/guardian sign the liability release.

What to bring: Bring layers for weather, closed toe shoes, binoculars, and water and snacks as needed. No dogs please.
Restroom availability: Restrooms are closed for winter. There may be a portable restroom available.
