About this Event
Wedgewood Edible Estate is a shared open space where volunteers have planted fruit trees and fruit and nut bushes across the site, creating an edible landscape that supports local biodiversity and provides food and learning opportunities for the community. As part of Dublin Climate Action Week 2026, this event will highlight how projects like this help build more climate‑resilient neighbourhoods.
Join Éanna Ní Lamhna for a guided walk and talk through the estate, where she will highlight the importance of creating edible landscapes for biodiversity and climate action. Éanna is a biologist, environmental and wildlife consultant, broadcaster, author, and educator, with decades of experience championing nature conservation in Ireland. A former president of An Taisce and the Tree Council of Ireland, she is widely known for making ecology engaging, accessible, and relevant to everyday life.
