Join artist Joanne Lamb for a hands-on workshop exploring 2D paper weaving inspired by nature and personal memory.
About this Event

Led by Joanne, this guided session encourages participants to work intuitively with natural materials, using the process of weaving and stitching to connect with their chosen object. You’ll preserve a treasured object - such as a foraged leaf or personal keepsake by incorporating it into a unique artwork. The workshop offers a relaxed, supportive environment to explore seasonal and natural themes, creating a personal piece to take home on the day.

What Participants Will Do
  • Explore 2D paper weaving techniques with guidance from the artist
  • Work intuitively with natural materials to create your design
  • Weave and stitch into khadi paper using natural yarns
  • Develop a unique composition incorporating a natural or personal object
  • Take home a finished, personal artwork

This workshop is for participants aged 16+. All levels and abilities are welcome. All materials will be provided.

Participants are invited to bring a small personal item or natural object (like a leaf, flower, or keepsake) to weave into their artwork.
