Want to learn how to play roller derby? Fancy trying something new? Looking to meet cool new people (and push them over for fun?) Time to sign up for our New Skater Intake!
Our New Skater Intake programme takes you through everything you need to know to take part in this exciting, fast, full-contact sport.
You'll be welcomed by our friendly coaches and super inclusive mixed-level team as you learn to skate, navigate the track safely, and get to grips with the rules of the game.
No experience? No problem! You don't need to know anything about roller derby, or even skating, to get started.
We can also provide kit such as skates, pads, and helmets while you learn.
All genders, fitness levels, and experience levels are welcome (18+ only).
🕕 WHEN: 6.30-7.30pm, every Monday for eight weeks, starting from 20th April and finishing 22nd June (excluding bank holidays).
🏰 WHERE: Castle View Enterprise Academy, Hylton Castle, Sunderland
💰 PRICE: £40 for eight sessions
