These are all important things to talk about, but we would rather focus on 𝘄𝗵𝘆 and 𝗵𝗼𝘄 we do what we do, what actually works, and what prospects we envision for the future now that we expect significant changes to happen in the system.
Whether it be building a community, getting enough money for our expenses, keeping employees or volunteers motivated, finding alternative ways to run a space, and so on.

Veszna’s workshop will look beyond proposal writing and focus on what actually makes a project 𝘧𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦. We will work on how to articulate your ideas clearly, how to design projects others want to support, and how to navigate funding systems without losing your direction.
Through a mix of practical exercises and shared reflection, participants will develop a clearer understanding of their own work, the logic behind funding decisions, and concrete next steps toward funding opportunities.
The session will be partially shaped by participants’ needs through a short pre-survey, allowing us to focus on real projects and current challenges — from specific applications (e.g. biennales, residencies) to broader questions of sustainability and survival.
