We Are What We Eat: Caring for Your Family Recipes

We Are What We Eat is the latest exhibition from the Free Library of Philadelphia’s Special Collections, and explores the intersection of food, community, and identity. As heirlooms that enable shared culinary experiences across generations, family recipes help preserve the flavors and traditions of our ancestors, and the Free Library wants to help take care of yours!
Maddie Cooper and Katie Lowe from the Conservation Center for Art & Historic Artifacts (CCAHA) will share tips on how to maintain your most treasured recipes and provide participants an opportunity to trade recipes with one another as well as receive individual consultations. The first 50 attendees will receive a commemorative cookbook from the We Are What We Eat exhibit at no cost.
