Join us for the 6th Annual We Are the Seeds Philly, part of the PECO Multicultural Series, on Saturday, September 20, and Sunday, September 21, at Cherry Street Pier. Free and open to the public, rain or shine.Saturday opens with a powwow, while Sunday features a full stage schedule of music, dance, and culture sharing. Both days run from 11 AM to 6 PM.
Throughout the weekend, explore the vibrant Indigenous art market with fine artists showcasing and selling their work. Visitors can also take part in hands-on activities like corn husk doll-making with Dawn Spears, experience live painting with Priscilla Bell Lamberty, join conversations with esteemed actor Gregory Norman Cruz, and view short films from the podcast From Here, With a View.
Featured artists include Tchin (jewelry), Joy Tonepahhote (beadwork), and David Farnham (sculpture), among many others.
