OUR CITY is an exciting new festival event produced by Back to Ours that will take place in Hull city centre on Saturday March 14th 2026

Our City is a community-led spectacular that will be a huge celebration of local identity, made with and for the people of Hull. It celebrates our location by the water – the idea of waves of activity moving from neighbourhood to neighbourhood, connecting communities and building into a magical city centre event.

Our City will include two fun-filled processions: one in the daytime, one at night. Both will travel through the city centre, creating a carnival atmosphere on the streets, before arriving in Queen Victoria Square for more celebrations.

Calling all Freelance Creatives in Hull and East Riding- This WAC Network Event is your chance to find out more about Our City and how you can be involved as a professional, as a participant, or both.

This event is free and open to all aspirant and established creative freelancers living in Hull or the East Riding of Yorkshire. Whatever stage you are at – beginner or experienced- and whatever your creative work and passion, find out more about Our City and how you can be involved

Tuesday January 20th 2026– 7 -9pm at The Edge Hub, Myton St Hull HU1 2PS

The Edge Hub is located in Hull City Centre near Connexin. Ten minutes walk from Hull Interchange via Ferensway, Carr Lane or Osborne St onto Myton St. Parking is available at Osborne St Multistorey or Princes Quay. The event is on the ground floor with easy access. Refreshments will be available.
