Jazz 91.9 FM will celebrate it's golden 50th anniversary broadcasting from the campus of Clark Atlanta University, oneof the nation's premier HBCUs. We are proposing an exciting live
performance saluting WCLK and done in collaboration with the Atlanta Jazz Festival during Memorial Day weekend.
The salute will be titled "WCLK At 50: Featuring Lil John Roberts and His All-Star Band" and the performance will be a 90-minute musical journeyfeaturing the stellar musicianship of award winning drummer/music director Lil John Roberts and his 14 piece ensemble, highlighting some of jazz's most endearing songs from the 1930s to today.
