ABOUT DISPLACED: WE SHALL NOT BE MOVED
Deed theft is a largely hidden crime—one that has stolen homes, land, and generational wealth from Black and Brown families, seniors, and women.
Displaced: We Shall Not Be Moved is an art exhibit and immersive experience that brings these stories into the light.
Through visual art, sound, and dramatized performances, this experience centers the lived realities of individuals and families whose properties were taken through fraud, coercion, and deception. These are not abstract cases. These are real people. Real homes. Real harm.
Attendees will move through an immersive space that honors testimony, grief, resilience, and resistance—inviting reflection, accountability, and collective responsibility.
Support independent media. Engage with community voices. Experience storytelling rooted in truth.
