About this Event
Experiment with watercolours and other complementary media and learn techniques you can use to produce beautiful floral paintings. Each student will produce a bundle of mini-paintings to keep, display, give away, make into cards or whatever use inspires you!
No supplies necessary!
Just bring your imagination and enthusiasm!
Best for confident beginners and folks with at least some art experience.
We'll cover:
Brush techniques for various loose florals and leaves
Wet on wet techniques to add depth and dimension
Complementary media to add details
Brush care
What to look for when buying supplies
This would not be complete if we didn't address mindset. This workshop is a judgement-free zone and we'll talk about how to quiet that talkative inner critic who may have opinions about your art journey.
*All art supplies will be provided, including a wide selection of professional quality paints, markers, gel pens and more. This will give you a chance to play with supplies and decide which you like best before investing in your own.
This workshop is perfect for you if:
