Watercolor Adventures (Ages 11–14)Explore watercolor painting as both a creative practice and a calming experience in this thoughtfully guided class led by artist and educator Morgan Federwitz.
In Watercolor Adventures, students will learn foundational watercolor techniques such as shading, layering, and color blending while discovering how art can support relaxation, mindfulness, and self-expression. Through guided activities and reflection, young artists are encouraged to focus on the creative process rather than perfection, building confidence and comfort with their own artistic voice.
This class is ideal for students who enjoy painting, want to try watercolor for the first time, or are interested in using art as a tool for focus, reflection, and emotional well-being.
