About this Event
Get ready to fizz, bubble, and ferment in this hands-on Edible Alchemy workshop all about Water Kefir – the probiotic-rich, naturally carbonated drink we like to call living lemonade.
You’ll sip your way through a variety of finished flavors as we dive into the two stages of fermentation:
🌀 Primary fermentation, where the kefir crystals (aka tibicos) transform simple sugars into a probiotic elixir,
🌀 Secondary fermentation, where we infuse flavor, fizz, and creativity into every bottle.
Together, we’ll explore the origins of these magical crystals, how to care for them, and how to use them to craft your own refreshing drinks – from zesty citrus blends to floral, spicy, or seasonal creations.
Everyone will:
✨ Taste multiple styles and flavors of finished water kefirs
✨ Brew their own to take home – ready to pop!
✨ Adopt their very own kefir crystals to keep fermenting forever onwards
