Director: Nnamdi Kanaga
Synopsis

A devoted mother, Nkechi, portrayed by Stella Damasus, is thrust into a world of fear and spiritual uncertainty when she discovers her daughter Kamsi may be an Ọgbanje, a spirit child bound to a cycle of life, death, and rebirth. Under the direction of Nnamdi Kanaga, the story unfolds as Nkechi’s faith, love, and resilience are pushed to their limits in her desperate attempt to protect her child.

As Kamsi, played by Moriyah Faith Jackson, moves between innocence and an otherworldly pull, the family is forced to confront the spiritual and emotional toll of a reality they cannot fully understand. Through grief, hope, and unwavering maternal devotion, Water Girl becomes a haunting exploration of motherhood, belief, and the enduring power of love in the face of the unknown.
