About this Event
From haunted lagoons to the site of a boat accident that killed hundreds — right downtown on the river — this ghostly bus tour will take you on a Chicago waterway adventure unlike any other. What makes these spooky sites so significant? Find out as we visit (as time allows):
- Streeterville Curse and the Hancock Building (floods)
- Chicago Water Tower
- Fountain of Time
- Lincoln Park Lagoon and Suicide Bridge
- Lincoln Park Zoo (cemetery moving because of the water table)
- Rouse Simmons
- Kwa-Ma-Rolas totem pole (sea monster at the base)
Registered attendees should plan to meet in front of the Chicago History Museum. Be ready to pull up your tickets in your email or Eventbrite app. Parking available in paid lot to the north, across the street.
