Spring has finally arrived in the ever-frozen land! Time to come out of hibernation, get moving, admire some flowers, (not actually) chase baby geese, toss some frisbees, or just relax and enjoy the outdoors.
Ivey Park is a lovely spot for cherry blossoms, but unfortunately, it’s under construction. I know Gibbons Park has a few tulips, though it’s only a small patch.
Either way, let’s get together and socialize a bit. You’re welcome to explore the park, take photos, enjoy the scenery, watch the goslings wander by, play some frisbee, stretch out on the grass, enjoy the fresh air, or simply hang out and chat.
Fingers crossed the flowers are in bloom and the weather stays nice — if it turns nasty, the plan is automatically cancelled.
Bring your own drink, a frisbee or a few if you have one, and a picnic blanket if you’ve got it, just in case the grass is wet. Feel free to bring some snacks to share as well!
We’ll meet at the tennis courts in Gibbons Park. There are a few tulip patches nearby.
