Hello Ward 6! DC residents are encouraged to bring their large, non-hazardous materials for disposal to the next Roll Off Day:
Date: Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 10AM to 2PM
Location: Watkins Recreation Center, 420 12th St SE, Washington, DC 20003

The events are currently organized by the Mayor's Office of Community Relations and Services (MOCRS) and supported by DC DPW.
Roll Off Days are free to attend. While pre-registration is not required, it is appreciated so that we can anticipate attendance.
Important: Roll Off Days are for residents of the District of Columbia (DC) only.

What is accepted at Roll Off Days
- Household furniture
- Old Clothing (that cannot be donated)
- Toys that cannot be donated (e.g., broken kiddie pools, playhouses, disassembled swing sets)
- Mattresses and box springs (MUST be wrapped in plastic)
- Bed frames
- Old rugs and carpets
