WALKING WITH FIRE IN SANTA MONICA MARCH 1, 2026 5-7PM

Walking with Fire is an introduction to Grandfather's Teachings from the book "Heard Around the Fire"

Join us around the fire for a transformative in-person exploration of wisdom teachings delivered by the timeless voice that has served as humanity's spiritual guide for 800,000 years.

For decades, during sacred ceremonial gatherings called Fire Speaks, Grandfather Fire has been speaking directly through the body of Don David Wiley, a respected elder in two living Mexican indigenous traditions—the Huichol (Wixarika) and Nahua. Walking With Fire offers you the chance to explore how these profound teachings can transform your daily life.

After experiencing selected wisdom teachings, we'll gather in meaningful dialogue to share reflections and insights. This is your opportunity to draw inspiration for your life journey while connecting with others.

Facilitated by Amanda KernerThrough Amanda’s enthusiasm, spirituality, strong work ethic, and passion for learning, she dedicates herself to building community. Volunteering is a vital part of her life—both with Sacred Fire and at the Blue Deer Center. As an initiated Firekeeper, she hosts gatherings and creates ritual space to support connection. Amanda serves as a full-time volunteer at the Blue Deer Center, where she brings her gifts as both a Board Member and Executive Director to help lead and sustain this sacred place. She holds a degree in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship from the University of Southern California. For over 15 years, Amanda led and grew the family business into a thriving enterprise alongside her husband, Alan. A devoted mother, wife, and grandmother, her home is always open and full of life with visitors and community.
