‘Walk Talk Kernow’ is a FREE adult bereavement support group run by Cornwall Hospice Care. Whilst walking in nature, each group provides a space for those who are bereaved and seeking social connections with others who are also experiencing grief. This walk is moderate in difficulty. Meet outside the café at 10 am, by the benches for registration before we take a moderate walk of approximately 2 mile circular to the RNLI Lifeguard Station towards Gwithian, returning to the café for refreshments with the group finishing at 12pm.
The walk is at strolling pace (an amble NOT a ramble) along either the high tide line across the beach or via the nature reserve and looping either way before heading back.
The café and walk are accessible to most though there some steeper parts, uneven ground and slope to the beach. Not suitable for wheelchairs or wheeled walkers. If the access over the bridge is impassable, we will walk towards the lighthouse.
Suitable footwear and clothing essential. Our teams will be visible with our lanyards/ID on.
There is a charge for parking. Please look at National Trust - Godrevy - Google Maps.
