About this Event
Welcome to the Walking for Community Health event! Join UT School of Public Health San Antonio and Bexar County Public Health on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 08:30 AM at Mission County Park for a fun and active event promoting physical activity! When physical activity is done in groups, it can strengthen connections to both the social and natural environment, especially when enjoyed outdoors.
As we walk together, participants will be invited to reflect on and share their perspectives on public health, drawing from their personal experiences, community involvement, and time spent in the park.
Lace-up your sneakers and bring your friends and family for a leisurely walk around the park. Let's come together as a community to prioritize our health and well-being. See you there!
