Leader: Audrey Killion from Winchester Trails.
About the hike: Join Audrey Killion for a leisurely walk at Long Pond in Winchester Fells in which we will take time to talk about the Indigenous People who inhabited these lands starting over 10,000 years ago. Audrey will bring her own authentic string of wampum to show all, and we will remember Nanepashemet, Squaw Sachem and their sons who lived here over 400 years ago. The trail is generally easy.
Parking is available at the Long Pond parking lot (). Please arrive early, as parking can fill up quickly.
Please note, there are no restrooms at this site.
