About Boot: Roland “Boot” Boutwell, a freelance itinerant naturalist, has been leading nature walks for the Friends of the Fells for over 25 years. He has also led walks and/or taught botany programs for a number of other organizations including The Trustees of Reservations, Arlington Community Education, The Massachusetts Association of Conservation Commissions, Winchester public schools, Wright-Locke Farm in Winchester, The New England Wild Flower Society and the Massachusetts Audubon Society.
About the walk: It’s early June and lots of spring wildflowers are in full bloom at Long Pond. Join Boot Boutwell on a slow-paced nature walk which will focus on wildflower identification as well as fun and interesting natural history. As usual, the walk will include a few poems and a reading or two.
Meet at the Long Pond parking lot (opposite #532), South Border Rd, Winchester. PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY, PARKING CAN BE TIGHT.

**Please do not register unless you can absolutely attend this walk. We often have waitlists and would like as many folks as possible to be able to attend.**
