About this Event

Reset after work with a midweek Walk & Talk Wednesday along the Thames with Summit Seekrs 🥾✨

This is a gentle after-work walk from Blackfriars Station to London Bridge Station with space for conversation, connection and a midweek mood boost.

🗓 Date & Time

Wednesday 18th February

  • Meet-up: 6:30pm
  • Walk start: around 6:45pm (dependent on public transport & latecomers)
  • Finish: around 7:45pm at London Bridge Train Station

📍 Meeting Point & Route

Meet-up – 6:30pm

  • Location: Blackfriars Train Station
  • We’ll meet just outside the station, do quick intros and outline the route.

Walk – 6:45pm–7:45pm (approx.)

  • Easy-paced city walk from Blackfriars to London Bridge, taking in the Thames-side paths and evening city views.
  • We’ll end at London Bridge Train Station for easy onward travel.

💷 Cost & Community Contribution

Tickets are FREE.

There is an optional £2 community contribution to support Summit Seekrs’ work (future walks, resources and community projects).

No pressure at all – your presence is the priority.

👥 Who is this for?

  • Adults 18+
  • Anyone who wants a gentle after-work walk
  • People who enjoy chatting, meeting new people and being outdoors (no hiking experience needed)

This is a relaxed, welcoming space – come alone or with a friend.

🧳 What to Bring

  • Comfortable walking shoes/trainers
  • Weather-appropriate clothing (coat, umbrella/waterproof if needed)
  • Water if you like to stay hydrated
  • Oyster/contactless / train ticket for your journey home

💬 On-the-day vibe

This is a chilled, social walk – not a workout or a race.

On the day you can expect:

  • Friendly welcome and check-in
  • Casual conversation as we walk
  • Discussion cards to help spark deeper or more intentional chats for anyone who wants them

You’re free to talk as much or as little as you like – no forced sharing.

Optional social afterwards

We’re exploring the idea of a post-walk social nearby (for example, grabbing a drink or hot chocolate after the walk).

Before the event, we’ll:

  • Send Eventbrite emails with a Google Doc / Form link asking if you’d like to join a social afterwards.
  • Use your responses to decide if we book a spot somewhere or keep it as just a walk that week.

Your feedback helps shape the vibe of future Walk & Talk Wednesdays.

⚠️ Health, Safety & Responsibility

  • You join the walk at your own risk and are responsible for your own safety, wellbeing and belongings.
  • Pavements and riverside paths may be busy, uneven or slippery in places – please wear suitable footwear and be mindful of your surroundings.
  • If you have any health conditions, please take care, bring any necessary Medic*tion and walk at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
