About this Event
Take a Hike and learn about the Data Center being built in the forest! Speak with community members advocating against the center, and learn about the effects and implication the data center will have on environmental health and future temperatures in the area.
Walkers will park at the given address, then will take a short carpool with staff to the hiking trailhead. We will be taking about a 45-50 minute hike (roundtrip) in order to be able to see the data center that is being built on the other side of the Nature Preserve.
The set walk is not on a fully manicured part of the trail and we WILL be in a wooded area, so wear good shoes, sunscreen, bugspray, and bring water for the walk.
Bring an inquisative mind, and join us to walk and talk about Data Centers in our Communities!
(Meet us at 6, and we will carpool to trailhead at 6:15)
