Wake on Stage is a fun, high energy evening celebrating the arts. The party starts @ 6 with heavy hors d’oeuvres and open bar! At 7 we’ll move into the theatre for exciting performances by influencers from across Wake County.Line-Up Includes:
* The Wake County Commissioners featuring jazz artist Shana Tucker
* WRAL Meteorologist Chris Michaels on drums
* The Dawson Family Fun Time Band starring Jamie Dawson (Aspires Homes), Lynda Dawson & their daughters
* The Broughton High School Jazz Ensemble featuring Rep. Mike Schietzelt, NC House, on trumpet
* Raleigh City Councilperson Christina Jones performing a monologue
* Former Wake County Commissioner Sig Hutchinson performing “The World’s Greatest Magic Trick”
* Former WRAL Anchor Valonda Calloway performing a dance piece.
* Mayor William “Bill” Harris of Fuquay Varina on trumpet
* Wake County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Robert P. Taylor performing a monologue
