VSU 25 Year Time Capsule Opening and Campus Clean Up

Join us in person for a fantastic day at VSU! We're cracking open the 25 Year Time Capsule to see what memories the past holds. Afterwards, pitch in to help with a campus clean up — it’s a great way to give back and catch up with friends. Don’t miss this fun and meaningful event!

The year was 2001, two organizations, The Men of New Water Inc and VSU Student Ambassadors, were given an opportunity to apply for a grant from the State Council of Higher Education (SCHEV). The goal was to fund a project or program that focuses on promotion of diversity and cultural awareness. The organizations were granted $1,500 along with additional money and resources from the school to put on “Trojan Pride and Dignity Beautification Day” in April, 2001. The purpose of the day was to bring all student organizations, staff, administration and alumni together to improve the cosmetic look of the campus.
