About this Event
Join us this June for a relaxed and rewarding day of volunteer gardening, with lunch included.
Kestle Barton’s garden, designed by James Alexander Sinclair in 2010, is at the heart of many of our events. Despite a very wet winter and spring, it’s thriving — and we’d love your help to care for it as the season unfolds.
Whether you’re an experienced gardener or a complete beginner, you’re very welcome. This is a chance to spend time outdoors, learn as you go, and enjoy the simple pleasures of working with the land alongside others.
The day will be guided by our lead gardener, Sam Reed, who will be on hand to offer direction and share knowledge throughout.
Expect a friendly, informal atmosphere, plenty of fresh air, and a delicious shared lunch. Please be sure to provide any dietary requirements in the order form so we can cater accordingly.
Some tools will be provided, but feel free to bring your favourite trowel, fork, kneeler or gloves.
Come along, get your hands dirty, and be part of a day that supports the garden and the community around it.
