Helston’s community choir takes to the lakeside for a feel-good summer evening concert! Sing Choir – Cornwall’s largest independent community choir – brings together voices from across the community for an uplifting performance by the water.
With a repertoire spanning contemporary pop and rock all the way back to 60s classics and everything in between, all performed with live accompaniment, this is a concert guaranteed to get you smiling, swaying and singing along.
The Helston branch of Sing Choir is part of a vibrant singing community with over 170 members across Falmouth, Helston and Truro – and this lakeside concert is a chance to hear them in full voice.
Bring a blanket, pack a picnic, and settle in for a lovely evening of live music in the park.

Flexible Ticket Prices
The South Kerrier Alliance CIC own and run Coronation Park for the “benefit of the residents of Helston and The Lizard” and we want everyone to be able to enjoy our events. To try and make our events as accessible as possible, we are offering various ticket prices for this event and a free ticket draw. Please book the ticket that reflects what you can afford right now. You won’t be asked any questions and your ticket options won’t be shared with anyone.

If you cannot afford a ticket right now please enter our free ticket draw here. We will give away as many tickets as we are able to and we will inform you if you have won tickets a minimum of three days before the event.
What do I need to know?
- This open-air event takes place in Events Square, directly outside Lakeside Cafe at Coronation Park, Helston, TR13 0RA.
- Please bring your own chairs and/or blankets. Seating is not provided.
- A licensed bar will be selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as snacks.
- Outdoor events will only be cancelled in extreme weather conditions, so please dress for the Cornish weather and bring a coat. Please don’t bring umbrellas as they block the view for other audience members.
- There is a small pay and display car park at Coronation Park — all proceeds support the running of the park. There is a larger pay and display car park at Castle Green. Free parking is available at the nearby Fairground car park.
- There is level access to Coronation Park and Events Square. If you have any additional access needs that you’d like to discuss with us, please email Guy at [email protected].
- There are accessible toilets at the rear of Lakeside Cafe.
- Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted at events.
- Events may be filmed or photographed and the material may be used by the South Kerrier Alliance CIC and its partner companies/organisations for evaluation, promotion or other projects. Please make sure everyone in your party is aware of this.
- Tickets are non-refundable.
