About this Event
Join us for a unique gardening opportunity at Nationals Park! We help maintain a rooftop farm at the stadium where the produce we grow is used in the food services & dining- come check out the seasonal crops we are growing including tomatoes, peppers, leafy greens, herbs, cucumbers as well as unique ethnic crops.
Come out and volunteer with us- you just need to bring comfortable clothes, closed-toed shoes, and two helping hands (gloves if you want) to do some planting and weeding in this awesomely hidden paradise- let the strawberries, tomatoes, and herbs mesmerize you.
Please arrive at the Geico Garage at 10 am, also please confirm via email or call that you will be attending, without confirmation the event cannot be held.
Please bring a water bottle and note that there is no bathroom access in the garden space. We also ask that volunteers be 14+ years old to attend the event. This location is not handicap accessible.
