On May 24 we are honoring those who volunteer at St. John's Lutheran Church. A volunteer Coffee Hour will take place throughout the morning with special refreshments and displays illustrating how many hands serve here at the church. (There are a LOT!!!) Please stop by to see the displays and join in bringing tribute to all those who are the hands of God in this place.We will have a special display recognizing Dr. JJ's Busy Bees for 10 years of service. The group is comprised of community members (culinary students) who donate their time and talent to cook for St. John's fundraisers or service events. Dr. JJ's Busy Bees expanded their volunteerism beyond St. John's and currently dedicate many of their weekends cooking for other churches and non-profits in the area to help with their fundraising or service events.
We APPRECIATE Dr. JJ's Busy Bees connection to St. John's and their volunteerism here at the church as well as the broader community!
