On Tuesday, May 20, Voltage Control Amsterdam will once again embark on a journey through the universe of modular synthesizers. They're breaking away from their usual Sunday evening concept because tamiX is visiting all the way from China. Known from social media, she has performed at Superbooth, Boiler Room, KnobCon, Buchla & Friends, and more. She’s famous for her improvised Buchla techno sets, and it's going to be something truly special.Opening the night is the godfather of lab gear music: mono-poly. You know Hainbach and his love for making music with old laboratory equipment? Well, he got it from mono-poly. With an immense track record of modular performances, he’s also the organizer of Noodlebar and a resident performer at Freerotation Festival.
0 0 0 is part of the new generation in sound design. Her modular synthesizer 'TEXTURE' has been featured in Dune 2 and other cinematic masterpieces. When she’s not patching, 0 0 0 loves crate digging and field recording. At Voltage Control Amsterdam, she will push TEXTURE and her beloved Roland SP-404 MKII sampler to their absolute limits. Get your groove on!
