About this Event
As part of AfriFest Week, APNET/AfriFest is partnering with Saad Ghosn (SOS ART) to present a guided tour of “Voices from Kenya: Social and Cultural Reflections” at Kennedy Heights Arts Center.
Participants will begin by viewing the exhibit, followed by an introduction from APNET. Dr. Saad Ghosn, curator of the exhibit, will then share his experience traveling in Kenya, meeting Kenyan artist printmakers, and selecting prints that he brought back for this Cincinnati exhibit.
The program will include an informal guided tour where Dr. Saad will discuss selected prints, their messages, cultural meaning, and printmaking techniques.
This event is free and open to the public.
