***2/20 update: Yesterday I met with the Lakota people and brought an offering to them in preparation for this event.They accepted the offering, and I am truly humbled.
They let me know they feel the respect from me for coming to them and asking for their guidance.
It's so important to understand how we can respect and protect the land and water that we are holding the event on.On stolen land.They will be inviting me back to their camp next week to meet with me and to share their guidance on how we can proceed with the utmost respect to the Indigenous people, the land, and the water. ***
Remember, revive, the power within, reclaiming:
We have felt the weight.
The fear.
The anger.
The grief.
The uncertainty.
Instead of carrying it silently, we gather and remember we are not alone.
Inspired by community scream gatherings happening in places like Chicago, we invite you — and your family and friends — to join us at the water for a sacred community release. Through guided spoken prompts, collective intention, and unified screams, we will transmute heavy energy into empowerment, together.
This gathering is:
🌿 Free and open to all ages — no sign-up, no cost. Just come. Children and families welcome.
🌿 A safe space for emotional expression, stress relief, and community connection.
🌿 Supported by music with @sound_kata_official and spoken poetry from the heart of @bellabaulam .
🌿A call to conscious action — transforming release into real-life empowerment.
This gathering is NOT:
A place for conflict or argumentative behaviors, division, or disruption.
Together, we will speak what is true.
Together, we will release what has been sitting in our bodies.
Together, we will scream — not from chaos, but from clarity.
And we will not end there.
We will close by committing, as a community, to say:
Yes. I see what is happening.
And I choose to actively empower myself and support my neighbors.
Empowerment can look like many things:
• Shopping more consciously
• Joining or starting a volunteer group
• Building local community
• Living more freely and less fearfully
• Loving your family and friends harder
• Spending more time with your pets
• Honoring and loving your body
• Choosing presence over paralysis
Revival comes in many forms.
It begins with small shifts.
With daily choices.
With the commitment to the change you already feel in your bones.
The scream is the spark.
The action is the flame.
Bring a blanket, water, and an open heart.
We speak together.
We scream together.
