About this Event
Join us for a class on the drinks and history of vodka. Beginning with vodka’s origins intertwined with Russian history, to its splash into the American cocktail scene. From St. Petersburg to Madison Avenue, the story of vitamin V winds through Cold War intrigue and the birth of modern advertising. Delicious drinks and fascinating history come together for the perfect winter cocktail class.
This class is part of our It’s Five O'Clock Somewhere series, a global cocktail journey into the flavors, traditions, and stories behind the spirits of American cocktail culture. Each class is guided by Hogwash Whiskey Den mixologists and Raising the Bar’s historian. You’ll learn to craft cocktails and explore the cultural heritage of each featured spirit, while actively participating in the making of drinks.
Whether you're experienced or just starting out, this class provides hands-on bartending and mixology experiences, along with insider tips to elevate your home skills. By the end of class, you'll master recipes and techniques from around the world and gain an appreciation for the people and traditions behind cocktail culture.
Raise your glass and join us for a journey of flavor, history, and craft. Reserve now to enjoy our immersive experience, featuring bartending stations for each pair of guests, fresh-made ingredients, and vintage glassware. Shake, stir, and sip as you deepen your cocktail knowledge and palate.
