In this presentation, you’ll revisit the attack on Pearl Harbor, the capture of U.S. POW No. 1 Kazuo Sakamaki, and the heroic story of the Janesville 99—a Wisconsin tank company that fought bravely in Bataan and endured the infamous Death March. You’ll also explore the devastating bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki that brought the war to an end, and the jubilation that swept the world on VJ Day, capped by the iconic sailor-and-nurse kiss in Times Square.
