</h4><h4>Who:</h4><h4>Local Families (areas of Muirhouse, Pilton, Granton and Drylaw).</h4><h4>Performances are aimed at children ages 5+</h4><h4>Children MUST be accompanied by an adult.</h4><h4>
</h4><h4>Cost:</h4><h4>FREE but advance registration required (Please note: Only 1 Family Ticket needed per Family Group booking)</h4><h4>Includes free bus travel to the event, lunch and free bus tickets for a return journey.</h4><h4>When you fill out the registration form, please let us know how many seats in total you would like on the bus.</h4>



About the Event

Imaginate and North Edinburgh Arts invites you to enjoy free performances on Saturday 25 May at the National Museum of Scotland.

This event is designed for families to come together to the Edinburgh International Children’s Festival Family Encounters Day.

Families can join us on the bus to the museum where they will encounter pop up performances throughout the morning. We will also provide vouchers for families to get lunch from the museum cafe.

The event will include:

  • Two performances chosen and developed with children from Forthview Primary School and Pilton Youth and Children’s Project: SOUP and The Boy Who Couldn’t Sit Still! You can learn more about performances HERE.
  • Walk-about characters (incl. a spaceman, cat puppet, and two giant beetroots)
  • Pop up theatre and dance performances
  • Interactive musical explorations
  • And more…



Important Information:

This event is aimed at children living in the local community (areas of Muirhouse, Pilton, Granton and Drylaw).

Places are FREE but advance registration is recommended.
